April Race - Color Me Rad 5k

This month's race, technically my 5th race of the year, was another paint-bombing 5k. These are easily the most fun races I have ever done. Again, my sister and I did this one and we had a great time. This race was a little better organized so we were able to start on time & finish quickly. We ran through the fairgrounds so it wasn't easy...running through dirt, sand & grass works the legs for sure!
This race also had to kilometers where they sprayed you with liquid paint, hence the reason we were soaked!

It's nice to run with my sister because we push each other...we motivate each other to do better.

We finished in about 35min and had a blast!

 I found my last color run photo taken 3 months ago and couldn't believe the difference....it's hard to see a change in yourself when you see yourself everyday. 

And as I've gone each month with these 5k's, I've been more & more excited to run each one. I love running, something I never thought would interest me. Something I never thought I would be able to do because I have always been overweight. The smaller I get, the easier it gets.
