Progress....not Perfection

3 1/2 months ago I put it all out there with a post & some photos that would make you shutter..... it was hard to post them but so many other bloggers inspired me to do so....well, I wanted to show you some progress....and again, I'm not perfect but like most of you, I need a little reminder of how far I have come. And looking at pictures of my old self and now my new self and actually seeing a change, makes all the difference for me and my journey. It helps push me through plateaus, gets my eating on check...whatever I'm dealing with in the moment, it helps! Try it! You may not ever post them like I did but they will help you, I promise....

So here they are......
Yeah, they're not cute but it's progress....it's less sagging skin, firmer arms and legs and 20lbs gone forever! I still have work to do to get you people a dramatic after photo....and it will happen...hopefully before the year is up.

So what are you waiting for?

Get up and out there....stop making excuses, stop being unhappy about a situation you can change. All it takes is putting your mind...and heart to it.
Nothing is stopping you...but you!

*Remember to like my facebook page & share with your friends.....I want to give you readers a chance to get some A Tad Monroe jewelry!!!! They are having a trunk show tonight if you can't wait till then....

  6. You can definitely see the transformation already! 20 lbs sure does make a difference. whenever I see people's progress photos I wish I had taken some myself, but I don't think I would have been brave enough to post them - so great to see someone so confident and proud of her body and progress!! keep it up :)

  7. Fantastic, Hun! Way to go. I say celebrate every little ounce and inch lost. I spent waaaayyyy to many years never feeling like what I did was enough. I never felt it measured up. In retrospect I should have been present in the moment and appreciative of all of my success. I certainly appreciate my current ones.
    You are doing great, Chica!

  8. I think you look great! As someone who still has 70+ pounds to go and has the sagging skin/fat belly thing going on these photos give me Lots of hope! I am putting in my time in the gym in classes and with weights hope it pays off like it has for you!

  10. That is amazing! And also really inspiring. I'm currently going through a plateau and it's hard for me to see any progress in the moment. Pictures are such a great reminder of how far we've truly come. Thank you! :)
