Motivational Monday

when you have none.....


I've been struggling lately...it's been probably about 2 weeks now....I've been going to the gym but have been eating like crappity, crap Crap CRAP! We've been eating out a lot and I've been drinking the diet soda a lot and so here we are.... 3lbs up and feeling like a big pile of bloated crap! And I'm only 27 days from Key West....ugh, so it's time to get my butt back in gear....I gotta dig out the ole' Bodybugg armband and get to work!

So I know this is Motivational Monday but how do you preach motivation when you have none? I don't know about you but it helps me to put it out there....I'm lucky enough to have this blog and an outlet....so I throw all that bad juju or what have you, out in cyberspace and hope that it helps me get off my ass and do something about it.....
So into a new week I go with a new outlook and hopefully a small amount of motivation.
So what are some of things that give you motivation? What sort of motivation do you give others? Maybe we can help each other?

  1. You can do it! I get motivation by getting online first thing with my morning cup of tea and visiting my bookmarked weight loss/health blogs and websites. It starts off the day on a positive foot and I'm inspired to do a little better than I did the day before. Keep your eye on the prize! Good luck!

  3. I know exactly how you feel! Sometimes I can't just paint a rosy picture on everything and have to let it all out and say I'm not doing well. There are many more times that I need some help than I can offer help. That's why I've decided to create a link-up for people that want to ask advice as well as give it! Hopefully it will be up next Tuesday!

    There isn't always one thing that gives me motivation - it changes all the time and the same things don't always work. What has been helping lately: I'm coming to the end of some dietbets so I have to stay on track or I'll lose a lot of money! I've been watching Extreme Weight Loss while the kiddos nap, and I always end up getting up and fitting in some exercise while I watch. I went to the farmers market and stocked up on veggies, so I'm forced to plan some meals so they won't go bad.

    That's about it because, to be honest, I've been struggling lately too! :). Good luck this week!

  6. Sometimes when I am getting ready to go away I have more issues with eating. Don't know why, it just happens. I hope you find some motivation and get back on track soon. I think it really helps to post about it.

  7. I've gone through cycles of blah. It will pass, just stay patient and don't go too far off track! The carbonation in diet cokes with make you bloat! No fun!
