Thankful......

For new months, whew!
As you have read, I've been struggling to find my footing in this big journey of mine. This ish' has been going on since October. I iust don't get it. So I've changed my workouts up but honestly, haven't really been so there goes that idea. Over the holiday I shopped around for some Quest bars, which I've heard are to die for, along with some Luna bars & since my Bode' shakes aren't in yet, some Lean Shake from GNC will have to do for now. So when a new month comes along I'm sorta happy...it's like a re-birth of sorts. So I started hard and will begin workouts tomorrow. I am gonna be pulling double duty at the gym 3 days a week (2hrs each day) and the other 3 days I'm doing some sort of cardio....I gotta get myself under control, my weight under control. It's killing me not feeling like myself. And besides that, I stupidly weighed myself on Saturday am...after all the holiday eating, and it read 180.2lbs, gasp! I can't be in the 180's...I just can't. That slapped my fat ass right back into reality and back into this thing.

With all of that, we still had an awesome holiday! I made a Thankful Tree where everyone wrote what they were thankful for and hung it up! It was a big hit, thanks Pinterest! If you aren't following me there, you should...I pin all sorts of things and have a board dedicated to the blog!

I also ran my 11th 5k of the year with my sis again. This was the Turkey Trot and was actually on Thanksgiving morning. We woke up at 6:30 and headed to Lake Eola in the freezing weather (38') but for Florida, that's cold! We did it in about 40min and headed home to cook for the family.

So to put this Thanksgiving into perspective,

Am I up in weight? Yes.
Have I been struggling? Yes.

But this picture is proof positive that I'm at least heading in the right direction. I just gotta keep going.....
